Abstract The linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy sets (LPFSs), which employ terms to express membership and non-membership degrees, can effectively deal with decision makers’ complicated evaluation values in the process of multiple attribute group decision-making (MAGDM). To improve ability LPFSs depicting information, this paper generalized cubic (CLPFSs) studied CLPFSs-based MAGDM method. First, definition, operational rules, comparison method distance measure CLPFSs are investigated. fully adsorb advantages hence they suitable flexible depict environments. Second, based on extension power Hamy mean operator CLPFSs, average operator, as well their weighted forms were introduced. These aggregation operators comprehensively aggregate problems.
